You might want to get a nice straight hair using a flat iron.
But it tends to loose the fullness on the top.
Here are some tricks you can try at home to create a Not So Flat Straight Hair :)
Step 1:
Start with wet, clean hair. Finger comb a light mousse into the hair to make it lighter and more fluffy;
I recommend Mousse Substantive by Kerastase which is a collagen-infused mousse that provides longlasting condition, hold & body to fine/limp mature hair.
Or, Mousse Volumactive by Kerastase (Hair has added strength and substance, with flexible hold and blow-dry protection. Hair is left with full, long-lasting volume. Style is protected with an anti-static effect.)
First towel dry to get out some moisture, and then use a blow dryer until the hair is about 90 percent dry.
Step 2:Flip your head upside down and brush the hair with a brush.
Move the brush from the back of the head forward to force the hair in the opposite direction, which will give it more volume and natural lift at the root.
Step 3:
Divide the hair into small one to two-inch sections. Approximate about 1/3 of your hair's full length from the bottom, and straighten from there to ends using a flat iron.
My trick is NOT TO MOVE YOUR WRIST or it'll create bend or roundness. If you like to add some movement on the ends, move your wrist slowly to create the curl.
Step 4:
apply little of serum on the ends.
My favorite serum is Elixir Ultime by Kerastase
The best thing ever!! I love love love this product! This doesn't weight your hair down:)
Since I love it so much I want to talk about the benefit and how to use it.
Elixir Ultime delivers a powerful cocktail of emollient and anti-oxidant active ingredients for ultimate shine and suppleness while promoting cellular renewal.
The elixir brings shine, nourishment and deep conditioning to the hair while smoothing the hair fiber, resulting in incredible shine. The multi-use elixir also helps restore strength to the hair and protects it from external aggressors.
Enjoy your nice and straight hair.
